One Shots - 9 - Simplify. Simplify. Simplify.

I've seen a few comments on the forums that there is too much text in my comic strips. Always eager to give the people what they want, here are the next two months of Adventures with Play condensed into an EZ-READ format:

Just bypass the text altogether and leave the speech bubbles blank! I can fill in my own punchlines, thankyouverymuch. /sarcasm

H'okay, if u don't get it here is the deal (at least as I interpret it):

Panel 1: Obviously the guy on the left borrowed something from the guy on the right, and upon returning it, guy on the right found a dead hooker inside.

Panel 2: Obiously, Tile is bargain hunting for hookers, and is bemused that this elf is gonna charge the same as the one's in town, but what's funny is that he's gonna get a faction discount.

Panel 3: Obviously, a hypothetical continuation of One Shot 3, in which the Orc responds with what he plans to do with his giant sword (the one extending out of the panel) and the Tauren's ass.

Geechorama's interpretations are characteristically good, especially the pithy description of the all-too-common happenstance of panel 1 and the keen observation of the continuity and comic-role reversal in panel 3. However, I'd like to take issue with the panel 2 explanation:

Obviously, Tile isn't actually bargain hunting for hookers but has merely managed to give that impression through some guileless questioning which has been misconstrued by the elven priest trainer / professional services worker. The humor comes from Tile's deepening ennui as the realization of the present situation sinks in. Also, there is a cruel gnome making a poop joke just out of frame.

Seems to me your worst work is when you're giving people what they say they want.

I'm just sayin.
